Dear Reader,

When's the last time you had sex?

Did you enjoy it? Did it last as long as you wanted?

Were you able to pull out your best moves?

If your sex life has become lackluster...

Especially compared to your 20s and 30s...

Don't be ashamed!

In the last several decades, scientists have discovered numerous foods that can actually enhance your libido, boost your pleasure, and improve your overall sex life.

If your sex life isn't what it used to be... a few changes to your diet could make a major difference!

Try these foods for better, more vibrant sex after 60:

1. Salmon: The health of your circulatory system is vital to sexual performance. Both men and women need good blood flow for a healthy sexual response. Salmon contains omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce plaque build-up and improve your blood flow. If you’re not a fan of salmon, halibut and tuna are great alternatives.

2. Meat: Your diet should include a wide variety of meats. Chicken, pork, and beef can all improve your sex life by providing essential nutrients like zinc, carnitine, and L-arginine. These nutrients help keep blood flowing smoothly and efficiently. In fact, research shows that moderate amounts of meat can help treat erectile dysfunction in some men.

3. Red wine: This one may not come as a surprise. Red wine can really help ladies get in the mood. According to The Journal of Sexual Medicine, women who have one to two glasses of red wine a day can experience increased sex drive and lubrication. Unfortunately, white wine and other types of alcohol don’t seem to produce the same results.

4. Oysters: It’s no rumor — oysters act as an aphrodisiac in both men and women. Scientists discovered that, in addition to oysters, clams and scallops can raise testosterone and estrogen levels. Increased sex hormones can heighten your sexual desire and energy.

5. Nuts and seeds: Nuts and seeds are incredible for the circulatory system. Like meat, they are packed full of zinc and L-arginine. Instead of a chocolate bar, snack on some almonds, pumpkin seeds, or cashews. You can also sneak in some extra omega-3s with a handful of walnuts.

6. Apples: Apples, along with cherries, onions, black grapes, and berries, contain a particular antioxidant called quercetin. This antioxidant has a large number of health benefits. When it comes to the bedroom, quercetin reduces erectile dysfunction, improves low desire, and minimizes painful intercourse due to prostatitis and interstitial cystitis.

7. Garlic: Have you tried to avoid garlic before a romantic evening? As it turns out, this could be a big mistake. Garlic is a natural anticoagulant (blood thinner). Blood thinners help prevent high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cardiovascular disease. In turn, they improve your circulatory system. Hopefully your partner doesn’t mind garlic breath or they’re willing to have some garlic, too.

Give these foods a try and see if they improve your sex life.
